Palapa at Upper Buena Vista tickets & upcoming events

Looking for a spot that’s got history, vibe, and a little bit of everything? Palapa at Upper Buena Vista is that place. Since 2014, it’s been the go-to hub for marine conservation volunteer training, drawing eco-enthusiasts from all over. But it's not just about saving the seas, this place has a cool past too. Back in 2007, Palapa became the official venue for the Buena Vista International Film Festival, showcasing indie movies from Latin America that you won’t find anywhere else. Over the years, it’s hosted more than three hundred performances, featuring everything from local jazz bands to emerging Latin artists, trust me, the energy is contagious. The rooftop VIP area offers stunning views, perfect for watching the sunset or catching a concert under the stars. The VIP Garden Box is pretty sweet too, giving you a private spot with easy access to outdoor spaces, ideal for a relaxed night out. Getting there is a breeze; if you’re on campus, just head south on the campus road and turn left onto Upper Buena Vista Road. Coming from the industrial district? Take the main road to Buena Vista and follow the signs. So whether you're into concerts, film festivals, or just soaking up the Miami vibe, Palapa is a must-see, trust me, you won’t leave bored.
